The song confronts the illogic of racism by pointing out the historical connection and influence of African culture on world culture. From music to fashion to economics. Yet makes it funky.
Mahoota is a producer/DJ/Artist and one part of South Africa's B.O.P group. His remix, became somewhat of an anthem in South Africa as a follow up to Keith Thompson's previous hit, "Living On The Frontline".

Produced by Keith Thompson, the other remixes were by Afro Blue and Thompson.
