France's maestro of the deep- soulful meets the U.S's legend of vocal and lyrical power. "Is It The Way" is truly a long awaited project by Melchyor A & Keith Thompson. With both having a busy productions schedule along with Keith's busy touring, completing the project took a while. But the heartfelt delivery, lyrical insight, atop Melchyor's original, evocative music, developed into a potential classic. It's well worth the wait. Remixes are by the legendary DJ Romain, Louie Gorbea, Enrico Mantini, Paolo Barbato, and additional mix by Melchyor A. All mixes have their own character to inspire you to sing the anthem, laughing at the ridiculousness and futility of racism, homophobia, and bigotry.
House music unites. One love.

Keith on writing/ producing the song:
"I wrote the lyrics in 2008 to Melchyor Anjara's rough mix, after seeing another racial injustice story and had to ask out loud, do they hate even the way we walk? Is it down to that? Then the artist in me took over and I started to write the lyrics. But stopped myself and turned on the mic and decided to let it just stream out. The vocals on the final are first takes only. In trying to do final vocals later, I couldn't recreated the originals emotion and stream of consciousness. Only the backgrounds were re-sung. I sat on the project for almost two years before I decided to get remixes and release it. I didn't think anyone would be interested or think it was relevant at the time, even though I knew it was. Hope people feel it ."
